Founder: Ben M
When I founded Authors.ae, I had one simple goal in mind: to give young Emiratis the opportunity to tell their own stories. Growing up, I saw firsthand how powerful storytelling can be, and how it shapes identity, preserves heritage, and empowers voices that might otherwise go unheard.

I’ve spent over a decade working in education across the UAE, leading programs that inspire creativity and innovation. But nothing has felt more meaningful than helping young minds bring their stories to life. Every child has a story worth telling, and Authors.ae exists to ensure those stories find their way into the world.
​
Our mission goes beyond publishing books; it’s about nurturing confidence, imagination, and a lifelong love for storytelling. With the right guidance, every young writer can see their name on the cover of a book, holding a piece of their dreams in their hands.

To the young authors of today and the literary voices of tomorrow, this platform is for you. I can’t wait to read what you create.

Cultural Patron: Taghrid Al Saeed
​As a proud Emirati and passionate advocate for storytelling, I am honoured to serve as the Cultural Patron of Authors.ae.
​
In my career, whether through my current role as Executive Director of Group Communications and Destination Marketing at Miral, or during my time with Mubadala and the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi, I have always believed in the power of stories to shape perception, build identity, and bring people together.
​
At Miral, I have had the privilege of helping position Abu Dhabi as a global cultural and tourism destination. This has included leading the efforts behind the launch of the region’s first Disney theme park and building strategic partnerships that have put our emirate on the international stage. But what excites me most is seeing young people express themselves boldly and creatively through their own stories.
​
Authors.ae reflects values I hold close: imagination, empowerment, and national pride. It is a platform that gives our youth the tools and confidence to share their voice and be heard.
​
I have worked with Benjamin over many years on edutainment initiatives, including the Khalifa Fund Venturist entrepreneurship programmes, the Crown Prince Court’s Mission to Mars animation project, and early ventures in video game development. As business partners and friends, I have seen his unwavering dedication to creative education firsthand. This platform is a natural continuation of that passion.
